Welcome to Open Door!Open Door Nursery School is a not-for-profit school established in 1973 by Wyoming Presbyterian Church. For over 50 years, it has provided a positive, enriching experience for many young children in our community.
Through our play-based curriculum and child-centered activities, we create a positive learning experience for all children. Open Door seeks to provide an atmosphere that is responsive to the development of the whole child and is committed to his/her physical, intellectual, social and emotional well-being. The school strives to foster cognitive growth and curiosity, nurture social confidence, and help children strengthen their emotional independence and personal skills through interaction with their friends and teachers. Calendar of Events: March Events: • 3.18 - Miss Jolie -Musical Author; singing, dancing, and bubble fun • 3.24 - Baby chicks arriving soon April Events: • 4.14 – 4.18 Spring Break • 4.29 – Eyes of the Wild (animal rescue program) May Events: • 5.8 – Annual Teacher Luncheon • 5.17 – Annual No Frills Fundraising Cocktail Party (celebrations and donations) details to come June Events: • 6.2 – School Picnic (Monday) 6.3 (Tuesday) is the rain date • 6.4 – Last day for students • 6.9 – Camp Open Door Begins
